Registration and exhibitions

Early Bird opens on October 28^th, 2026 and closes on November 27^th, 2026. Please keep in mind that you have to be a member of NBS for the year 2026 to attend the conference. Membership is paid per calendar year and may be added during registration. Information about the NBS membership can be found here → NBS Membership.

EARLY BIRD REGISTRATION
The “Early Bird” prices for participants below are valid until November 27^th, 2026. Prices include attendance on the meeting and hotel room from Thursday to Sunday. All meals, including a banquet dinner on Saturday, are included as well.

Prices will increase with NOK 1 000 after Early Bird offer expires.

Late registration: No later than January 4^th, 2027

Prices are given in NOK including VAT and may change without notice. Payments are not refundable, except at the discretion of the organizers. The special price for students applies to master and PhD students only.
Prices include participation, accommodation and breakfast as well as lunch and dinner/banquet for those who stay the following night.

TRANSPORT
You can book and pay transport by bus from Tromsø to Sommarøy when filling out the registration. The cost for this transport (return ticket) is NOK 500.

If you do not book transport through us, you will need to arrange transport yourself. Please refer to the accommodation and transport section for alternatives.

FOR EXHIBITORS
The exhibition area is located next to the plenary lecture hall and coffee will be served in the exhibition area at designated times during the days (see the tentative program). Although we of course encourage exhibitors to stay for the entire conference, we offer offer a two-day pass to allow for shorter stays at Sommarøy Arctic Hotel.

If you represent a non-profit organization and wish to book a stand at the meeting, this can be organized at no cost.

Please find the prices for exhibition stands and advertising below. The exclusive items are sold as first come first served, but please contact Rebekka Rolfsnes Hovd to suggest items not on the list. All exhibitors will be presented with their logo and a link to their home page on the website of the meeting and in the conference booklet. Please do not forget to send logos and link.

Prices are given in NOK including VAT and may change without notice, however, total price will also be given in EUR, USD, GBP, DKK, and SEK. Conversion is carried out using exchange rates from Norske Bank . Payments are not refundable, except at the discretion of the organisers.

If you choose not to book accommodation though us, be aware that registration includes lunch and dinner during the conference, but not breakfast. For the 2-day option, you select the date you plan to attend in the booking form.

The organizer reserves the right to make changes to the program, speakers, schedule, or format of the event without prior notice if deemed necessary. If the conference cannot be held as planned due to circumstances beyond the organizer’s control, including – but not limited to – force majeure events such as natural disasters, fire, strike, lockout, pandemic, serious disease outbreak, technical failure, government restrictions, or other official orders, the organizer shall not be liable for any financial losses incurred by the participant.
