Contact Meeting 2020 – Early Bird open – Register NOW!
Dear colleagues and students,
It is a great pleasure to invite you to the 56th Contact meeting of the Norwegian Biochemical Society, 23-26. January 2020. The meeting is organized together with the Norwegian Society for Microbiology (NFM). For the first time, it will be held at Voss, about one hour from Bergen. Also new this year is a pre-event organized together with the research schools BioCat, NORBIS and Digital Life Norway:
- Early Bird registration closes 30. November 2019! Note that the prices include registration fee, hotel room during the whole stay with all meals, and the banquet dinner on Saturday.
- We have reduced prices for MSc and PhD students!
- NBS membership (and thus the NBS contact meeting) is open for everyone! If you are not already a member of NBS, you can easily become a member at the same time as signing up for the conference.
- We have a great program with eight outstanding plenary speakers that cover a wide range of subjects. This includes EMBO Keynote Lecture by Magdalena Götz and FEBS National Lecture by Pavel Tomancak. You will have the opportunity to present your research in mini symposia or poster sessions.
- The venue is Park Hotel Vossevangen. Depending on the number of participants, we may also use Fleischer’s Hotel, located just next to Park. Both hotels are a short walking distance to the train station and the newly opened gondola, which will take you to the ski slopes in a few minutes. Or, why not try in-door skydiving at VossVind?
